Role Summary:
This role is of critical importance to our ambition of ushering in a new epoch in intravascular care. It is imperative that the business ensures that healthcare providers are educated on the appropriate use and potential contributions of our products. It is essential that we provide them with the tools and information they need to effectively integrate our products with their patient care workflow to drive enhanced understanding of neurovascular disease. This role will develop clinician & lab staff relationships, neurovascular & imaging clinical expertise and educational tools to establish Spryte Medical’s nOCT platform within various geographies ensuring that our customers are aware, informed, engaged, and equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed with our product.
Objectives for this role are expected to include clinical trial case support, conducting live and virtual training sessions, commercialization readiness activities, developing training & education curriculum, collaborating with marketing to infuse field knowledge into Spryte’s product offerings as well as neurovascular conference support.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide site initiation training & clinical case support for Spryte’s clinical trial activities.
- Report case details including procedure description, product usage, image interpretation notes and customer feedback.
- Respond to customer requests and complaints in a timely manner and in collaboration with other departments at Spryte (where applicable).
- Assist in continued development of Spryte’s nOCT Imaging System product & workflow training. This will include didactic and hands-on training for Healthcare Professionals (HCP).
- Develop image interpretation training to aid in customer understanding of nOCT intravascular imaging.
- Support HCP live nOCT training meetings or virtual webinar programs by conducting didactic & hands-on device, workflow and image interpretation education sessions.
- Upon regulatory clearance, assist in the launch execution at new hospital accounts. Activities will include product introduction, device workflow training, image interpretation education & clinical procedure support.
- Improve customer experience and product adoption through live clinical case support & product education, ensuring proficiency and comfort with image acquisition & interpretation.
- Serve as a trusted resource and consultant for intravascular imaging technologies and related devices.
- Actively participate in product roadmap discussions with Marketing and Research & Development to ensure that the voice of the customer is recognized and understood.
- Continuously develop deep clinical and technical expertise on product applications, competitive landscape, and evolving clinical practices.
- Attend key neurovascular conferences with a goal of increasing Spryte’s footprint, engaging in clinical conversations with clinicians, staying up to date with the latest in the neurovascular space and sharing information learned with the greater Spryte team.
Experience & Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (required).
- 2 – 5+ years of related OCT or Neurovascular industry experience (required).
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain productive customer relationships in a healthcare environment
- Demonstrated ability to travel overnight 50 -75% in multiple geographies. Ability to travel internationally as needed.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to conduct company business outside of the typical Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm work schedule.
- Ability to pass hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy.
- Standing and/or walking for up to eight hours per day.
- Environmental exposures include radiation, infectious disease, blood and bodily fluids.
- Ability to wear a 5-7 pounds lead apron for extended periods of time.
Estimated base salary range for a Senior Clinical Imaging Specialist is $165,000-$180,000.
Base salary decisions depend on several factors, including, but not limited to, individual qualifications and experience, job location, internal equity, and market data alignment.
